Electrical AssemblerSalary Range $18.00 - $22.00ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. ACS Group maintains an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, heat exchangers (mold temperature control units and chillers), drying systems, and presses. These products are marketed under such recognizable brand names as AEC, Sterling, Cumberland, Wabash and Carver. Manufacturing facilities are located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located Suzhou, China to handle the needs of the Asian market.$2.50/hr shift premiumA successful candidate will be responsible for:Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), position overview, blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructionsCompletes required paperwork e.g. timecards, quality documents, test records, standard-work, etc.Follows written and verbal instructions and assignmentsAdheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g. safety & 5s proceduresEffectively wire a variety of products that range from standardized design and function to non-standard products.Work requires basic electrical assembly aptitude, technique and ability to operate machinery, equipment, and computer terminalsUse required measuring and gauging devices and metersContribute to a positive work environmentPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of electrical experience preferableDemonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of partsAdept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoningFamiliar with the use of various hand/power tools and metersGood organizational skillsBasic math skillsDetail oriented
