Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – LDRP Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: September 21, 2026 Location: Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 orientation hours; 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends; every third weekend required; no call required; float within facility/scope of practice as needed Highlights: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit caring for laboring patients from 35 weeks gestation Comprehensive maternal-newborn care including postpartum and newborn services Epic charting system in use facility-wide 7-bed/7-room unit with daily census of approximately 6 patients and 3 visits per day First-time travelers welcome with minimum 3 years of experience Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract Requirements: Current Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery/LDRP nursing experience Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate Epic charting system experience required Experience with 2:1 patient ratios Proficiency in labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn assessment, and couplet care Community hospital or teaching hospital experience preferred Full compliance required to start on time; all documents due Tuesday prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LDRP nurse to join a supportive maternal-child health team in Georgia.
