About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Every Other Weekend) Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: First to float to PCU for a Medical-Surgical assignment unless telemetry trained. Description: Unit Notes: Ratios are 1:6 maximum. Dayshift ratios Monday through Friday are 1:5. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. Floating requirement is first to float to PCU. Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts may be required every 6 weeks. Holiday requirements allow for only 1 holiday request off during the contract period. The work setting is Acute Care Division. The charting system is EPIC. The facility operates a Trauma Level 3. The facility features a variety of local attractions including art in the park events, vineyards, and museums. The area is known for its natural wildlife during specific seasons.
