New Business Development Coordinator (Emerging Technologies Industry)

A global, multi-industry manufacturing and technology company is seeking a New Business Development Coordinator to join their New Business Development & Outside Sales team at their Elk Grove Village, IL office . This position is responsible for new business development/outside sales and project coordination activities for their cutting-edge, carbon-neutral industrial metals projects. This is a full-time, direct hire, exempt, onsite-hybrid (1 day from home) position with comprehensive benefits package. New Business Development Coordinator Duties: Support and lead new business development strategies and outside sale activities for new enterprise projects, including project planning and coordination support Collaborate with customers/stakeholders on new implementations, integrations and custom solutions for their current and future needs Facilitate interdepartmental communication between engineering, logistics, and outside stakeholders for project advancement Collaborate with vendors on project deliverables from start to finish Support project decisions through regular cost-benefit analysis Additional duties as assigned New Business Development Coordinator Ideal Minimum Requirements: Advanced Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar a plus Minimum 1 year of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales processes Education and/or experience in project management and multi-department communication/collaboration Practical knowledge of ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel Comfortable with occasional travel up to 30% (1-2 times per month, 2-3 days at a time) High attention to detail and comfortable handling tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment This position will not support visa sponsorship or relocation expenses While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle paperwork and use a computer, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
