Controller - Manufacturing

A well-established $65MM manufacturing organization backed by a publicly traded parent company is seeking a Division Controller to lead the finance and accounting function for its New Jersey operation. This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands‑on, upwardly mobile finance leader who wants to own the full accounting function, partner closely with operations leadership, and help drive strategic growth within a global organization. What You’ll Do: Lead all plant‑level accounting and finance operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow Manage and mentor a local accounting team of 4 Serve as the primary finance business partner to site leadership and operations management Oversee inventory/cost accounting, revenue recognition, A/R, A/P, and general ledger activities Deliver monthly financial analysis, variance reporting, and operational insights Support annual budget process, capital planning, and profitability analysis Ensure SOX compliance and adherence to internal controls / US GAAP Coordinate with external auditors and corporate finance leadership Manage consolidated reporting for domestic and international entities What We’re Looking For: 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Manufacturing industry experience required Publicly traded company experience strongly preferred Strong cost accounting and operational finance background Proven leadership ability with a willingness to be hands‑on CPA and/or MBA preferred ERP experience; strong Excel skills required Why This Role: Visible leadership role with direct exposure to corporate executives Opportunity to make immediate impact and build a strong team Stable manufacturing platform with growth backing Compensation: Up to $200K base + 15% bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr firstPRO, Inc
