divh2Commercial Banker/h2pLocation: 4599 Cemetery Road, Hilliard, OH 43026/ppHours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Must be flexible around branch hours)/ppFunction: Assume the primary responsibility for managing existing and growing commercial banking relationships/ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliInterviews customers and prospective customers to identify loan/deposit opportunities/liliDevelops and enhances banking relationships with commercial customers by selling loan, deposit, and fee products/services./liliCollecting and analyzing financial data for proper loan structure for written/verbal presentation to loan committee./liliManage commercial calling program for existing customers/liliResponsible for commercial customer growth through the development of an aggressive calling plan. Responsible for the growth of existing commercial customer relationships as well as new client relationships./liliResponsible for negotiating customer loan documentation and facilitating loan closings./liliAssumes responsibility for complex accounts/liliCarries out a variety of business development activities to identify bank prospects, develops key centers of influence, actively participates in industry events and organizations./liliEnsures compliance with existing loan policies and procedures./liliCollaborates with commercial banking team and credit teams to prepare new loan requests, prescreens, and committee presentations./liliWorks with Product partners including Treasury Management and Private Banking to establish products/services for commercial customers./liliResponds to various customer questions and as needed directs to appropriate party and provides follow through./liliActively participates in monthly and quarterly loan portfolio review meetings./liliCollaborates with Portfolio Managers to manage existing loan portfolio. Monitors and documents performance of existing loan portfolio through call memos, site visits, financial collection / review, including annual reviews and business development plans. Monitors maturing loans and financial/covenant/documentation exceptions./liliProvides mentoring and guidance to less seasoned Commercial Bankers given level of experience./liliManages loan payment delinquency within their loan portfolio./liliMaintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization./liliAssumes additional responsibilities as required./li/ulpEducation: Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent, major in Finance/Accounting./ppExperience: Ten plus years specialized lending experience./ppPhysical Demands: Operates a keypad device: 40% of the week. Operates electronic equipment: 20% of the week; operates office equipment: 10% of the week. Travels: 50% of the week. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs, lower and upper torso and feet. Standing is required. Sitting is required. Walking is required. Physical demands include travel by car to see customers, inspect construction sites, land developments, etc. Lenders also travel out of state to inspect projects, construction sites and meet customers. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18-20 for computer work.
