Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity PCU setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
• Float to other system campuses as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred and required for compliance
• Prior experience working in a high-functioning PCU environment with 1:5 patient ratios
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses
