Overview Family Law Attorney – Remote/Hybrid Salary: $115,000 - $170,000 per year. Permanent, full‑time position at a reputable law firm. Responsibilities Provide expert legal support and advice to clients on complex family law matters such as divorce, child custody, alimony, spousal support, and property division. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, and court pleadings. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests at all times. Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective case strategies that align with clients' objectives. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, and court decisions, and apply this knowledge to client cases. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure the efficient and timely management of cases. Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing regular case updates and addressing questions and concerns promptly. Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's family law practice. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the WA state bar. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney, with a strong track record of handling cases involving alimony and spousal support. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in legal research and writing. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
