Adult and Pediatric ENT Physician

A leading healthcare system in Worcester, Massachusetts, is seeking a Locums Adult and Pediatric ENT Physician for weekend call coverage. This opportunity involves 100% call coverage with no clinic responsibilities, focusing on managing surgical emergencies and trauma cases. There is potential for assignment extension beyond the initial coverage period.

Responsibilities
- Provide weekend call coverage for adult and pediatric ENT patients
- Evaluate and manage ENT emergencies and inpatient consultations
- Provide surgical coverage as needed
- Respond to trauma-related ENT cases
- Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, and resident physicians
- Perform bedside procedures and operative interventions when clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Shift & Schedule
- Assignment Dates: August - September 2026
- Potential for extension beyond initial assignment
- Coverage Requirement: Two weekends per month
- Schedule: Friday at 4:00 PM through Monday at 6:00 AM
Requirements
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Trauma experience required
- Active Massachusetts medical license required
- DEA registration required
