Compensation Analyst

Available locations Austin TX, Denver CO, San Francisco CA, New York NY, Seattle WA, Atlanta GA, Washington DC About the department We are growing our Total Rewards team and looking for someone with a background in compensation, who is passionate about developing meaningful rewards programs, guiding organizations in making pay decisions, and building knowledge and trust in our compensation programs. What you'll do Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data Audit, maintain, enhance and refresh compensation databases and systems Support day to day ad hoc analytical data analysis Work with data to develop compensation models to derive useful compensation insights that will drive our decision‑making Partner with recruiters to create fair and competitive compensation decisions and offers Partner with the People Operations and Systems team to configure and administer compensation systems, including Workday for compensation planning Help with the implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs Assist with development of total compensation communications, including training, compensation statements, videos and other material Support the administration of the company’s compensation cycles Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience 5+ years of Compensation experience Experience with salary structure design and market pricing Exposure to equity program administration Knowledge of Radford survey benchmark jobs and database Strong analytical skills; the ability to synthesize data and develop insights Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Exceptional communication skills both written and oral Microsoft Excel and Google sheets proficiency; proficient in PowerPoint and presentation software Working knowledge of Workday, especially for Compensation Planning Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $109,000 - $133,000 For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $122,000 - $150,000 For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $129,000 - $157,000 Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
