Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Alaska RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and emergency response for students and staff
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policy
• Monitor, evaluate, and respond to student health needs across various school sites
• Maintain accurate health records and manage documentation
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create individualized healthcare plans
• Educate students and staff on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic care management
• Uphold regulatory requirements and ensure confidentiality of protected health information
