Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through thorough physical exams and detailed medical history assessments
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions via a meticulous review of imaging and lab results
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to devise individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer critical intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care including managing medications, caring for wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with emphasis on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
