CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Lancaster, California

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled RN with cardiovascular operating room experience. This contract role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care alongside a dedicated surgical team for a 13-week assignment beginning October 19, 2026. Schedule Four 10-hour shifts each week Day shift with varied start times Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation Qualifications Active and unrestricted California RN license Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required) At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel RN Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care throughout complex CVOR surgical procedures Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment Administer medications and monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery Support pre- and post-operative patient education and assessments Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care Respond to rapidly changing situations with professional judgment and competence Demonstrate flexibility for scheduled calls, including weekends and holidays, as required This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within an established surgical team.
