\n \nWhat You'll Be Doing
\n• Independently manage workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution
\n• Handle depositions, hearings, appeals, mediations, and settlement negotiations
\n• Represent employers, insurers, and TPAs before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission
\n• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and case evaluations
\n• Provide strategic advice, risk assessments, and regular client reporting
\n \nCore Requirements
\n• Active Virginia Bar admission (DC and/or Maryland admission is a plus)
\n• 3+ years of Workers' Compensation defense experience
\n• Strong writing, advocacy, and litigation skills
\n• Ability to independently manage a workers' compensation caseload
\n \nPreferred Background
\n• Experience representing employers, insurance carriers, or third-party administrators
\n• Excellent client communication and organisational skills
\n• Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a collaborative remote environment
