Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Urbana, IL

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential support as a Pharmacy Technician at a retail location in Urbana, Illinois, on a per diem basis. This role includes assisting pharmacists with prescription processing and inventory management while delivering excellent customer service to ensure a smooth pharmacy operation.

Urbana, Illinois (Champaign area)

Schedule:

Per diem coverage from September 15 to September 16
1st shift, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system
Assist in dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
Manage and restock OTC inventory to maintain adequate supply levels
Greet customers, address questions or concerns, and provide outstanding service
Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing

Qualifications:

Active and valid Illinois pharmacy technician license
Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
Experience with Pioneer Rx system preferred
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
