Refrigeration Specialist

AKKODIS is seeking a Refrigeration Specialist for a full time job with a client located in Tempe , AZ . Ideally looking for applicants who have proven experience to manage commercial refrigeration projects from initiation through completion.

Salary range : $100,000 to $110,000/Annually +benefits

Key Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Sr. Refrigeration Specialist to manage commercial refrigeration projects from initiation through completion.
• The ideal candidate will oversee reactive, planned, and capital refrigeration work orders while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Responsibilities include supporting field technicians, monitoring project timelines, and resolving high-priority escalations.
• The role requires close coordination with clients, contractors, store managers, and operations teams.
• Candidates should have strong expertise in low-temperature refrigeration systems and facilities maintenance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration project management.
• Strong hands-on experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or B2B customer service environments.
• Proven experience managing refrigeration work orders, capital projects, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot field technicians in real-time.
• Experience handling client escalations and resolving operational issues quickly.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and contract management.
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
