Travel CT Technologist - $2,938 per week

Job Description & Requirements The role requires expertise in operating computed tomography equipment, ensuring accurate imaging for medical interpretation, and providing patient care and support during scans. Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed. Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions. Appropriately position patients to scan specific body areas. Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) national certification, and state-specific licensing when required. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. CT Technologists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
