Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary emergency department care for patients experiencing trauma or acute illness requiring emergency intervention
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and nasogastric tube placement
• Assist providers with orthopedic and suture procedures
• Utilize EMR (Epic), telemedicine, Lifepak 12, and remote pharmacy systems during night and weekend shifts
• Provide backup support for outpatient infusion therapy, same-day surgery, and medical-surgical patients as needed
• Float to the medical-surgical unit as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum prior Emergency Department experience required
• Proficiency in IV insertion, Foley insertion, and NG tube placement
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• TNCC or CALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR and telemedicine platforms
• Comfort working in a small, critical-access-style emergency department setting
• Experience supporting medical-surgical patient populations
