Inventory Control ManagerGreat inventory management is what keeps a warehouse running smoothly and customers getting the products they need. At Ferraro Foods, our Inventory Control team plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring product movement and expiration dates, resolving discrepancies, and helping ensure our warehouse operation stays efficient and organized.We're looking for an Inventory Control Manager who is analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of all aspects of inventory control while partnering closely with our Warehouse and Purchasing teams.What You'll Be Working OnManage all aspects of the inventory control program, with a focus on inventory accuracy and reducing exposure to obsolete productFully utilize our IDS/ERP system to manage and support inventory control activitiesMaintain and monitor expiration dates across all inventoryReview and verify shipping and receiving documentation and resolve overages, shortages, and other discrepanciesPartner closely with Purchasing to track and report inventory needs and communicate incoming material discrepanciesPerform cycle counts, quarterly inventories, and year-end physical inventoriesResearch, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepanciesManage receipt and inventory reconciliationComplete inventory confirmations, adjustments, and discrepancy researchUtilize WMS systems to accurately track and manage inventoryMaintain accurate inventory records and support efficient day-to-day warehouse operationsThe Ingredients for SuccessMinimum of 2 years of warehouse or related experiencePrevious experience in a similar role within the food distribution industry preferredWorking knowledge of inventory control systems, processes, WMS, and ERP systemsKnowledge of SQF and HACCPExtensive experience with Excel and spreadsheet managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft WordStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with Warehouse, Purchasing, and other operational teamsFlexibility to work extended hours and overtime as operational needs requireWhy You'll Love Working HereTake ownership of a critical function within our warehouse operationWork closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, and other operational teamsPlay a direct role in improving inventory accuracy and reducing product lossJoin an established food distribution company with opportunities to grow within Operations and Supply ChainThe DetailsPosition: Inventory Control ManagerDepartment: WarehouseEmployment Type: Full-time, ExemptSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility for additional hours as neededSalary Range: $80,000–$85,000 annuallyReports To: Warehouse ManagerBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid holidays, and additional voluntary benefit offeringsApply today and help keep Ferraro Foods' inventory accurate, organized, and moving!Salary is commensurate with experience.Ferraro Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
