Academic & Behavioral Specialist – Trail Elementary Starting Date: Aug 10, 2026 Job Description This is a certified staff position at Trail Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is designed to support the school’s instructional program by providing academic and behavioral interventions, implementing resources, and delivering behavioral instruction to enhance students’ social-emotional development and academic success. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in education. A master’s degree in education is preferred. The position reports to the building principal and is open through June 23, 2026, or until filled. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in education (Master’s degree preferred). Maintain Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) certification by earning 5 credit hours per every 5‑year renewal period. Proficiency in providing academic and behavioral interventions, delivering behavioral instruction, and supporting social‑emotional development. Citizenship, residency, or valid work visa is required. Clear criminal background clearance.
