At Hattori Nori, we believe hospitality is just as important as the food we serve.

Our guests come to experience an authentic Japanese hand roll bar where every roll is served one at a time, directly from our chefs. As a member of our front-of-house team, you are responsible for creating a welcoming, seamless, and memorable dining experience from the moment guests walk through our doors until they leave.

We're looking for energetic, genuine people who love taking care of others and want to be part of one of Nashville's most exciting new restaurant concepts.

Position Requirements

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Guide guests through our menu and explain our hand roll dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver food and drinks with attention to timing and detail.
• Anticipate guest needs before they ask.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining room.
• Work closely with chefs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable service.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, and daily cleaning responsibilities.
• Help maintain a positive, team-first culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sushi, Japanese cuisine, sake, beer, or wine is helpful but not required.
• We are happy to train individuals with the right attitude and work ethic.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
