General Manager - New Restaurant Opening

The Copperfield is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the opening of our newest location coming soon to Rosemount, Minnesota.


This is a unique opportunity to join our leadership team before opening day. You'll begin your employment by training alongside experienced leaders at one of our established Copperfield locations, learning our culture, systems, and operational standards before transitioning to lead the Rosemount restaurant through its grand opening and beyond.

Key Qualifications

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional food, service, hospitality, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing management team and hourly staff.
• Drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction through strong leadership and operational excellence.
• Manage labor, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and overall financial performance.
• Analyze key performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture where employees can grow and succeed.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and all health department requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service or casual dining restaurant.
• Proven success leading high-volume restaurant operations.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing management teams and hourly employees.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor, food cost, inventory, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
