JOB OVERVIEW Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Employed) Location: East Chicago, IN Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: MondayFriday On-Call Shift Schedule: 1:4 rotation Call Type: Rotational Call Ratio: 1:4

PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Obstetrics and gynecology patients Admissions: Yes Rounding: Yes Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: General OB/GYN

FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII Office Equipment Available: Standard OB/GYN tools and diagnostics Specialty Backup Available: Collegial group of system physicians Support Staff Available: Nurse practitioner support for both inpatient and outpatient care Reason for Coverage: Growth and system-wide service line expansion

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90120 days post-offer

JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain) Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Open to all experience levels Other Qualifications: EPIC EMR proficiency; team-oriented with strong communication skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services Participate in 1:4 call rotation Collaborate with multidisciplinary physician group Use EPIC system for documentation and clinical workflow Help expand OB/GYN services in a supportive healthcare system
