Safety and Occupational Health Manager

DutiesPlans, recommends, coordinates, manages and evaluates major projects, studies and actions related to the development, introduction, incorporation and sustainment of Army, OSHA and joint base safety.Researches, studies, and evaluates operations and risks, and identifies/develops methods/techniques to control/eliminate hazardous conditions that occur during daily operations and exercises.Develops safety alerts and messages to inform units of unsafe equipment or conditions which are timely.Reports all aspects of the safety program directly to Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Safety Directorate.Studies Brigade or office operations, structure, work flow, equipment, mission, and other technical aspects.Develops and provides 93d Signal Brigade-wide policies and procedures for hazardous materials including the identification, storage, handling, use, disposal and transportation of the commodities.
