Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Capital Brain And Spine

Austin, TX

Duties Include

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (MRI, blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose spinal and brain conditions
  • Propose treatment and surgery
  • Prescribe medications
  • Inform patients about their health conditions
  • Educate patients and their family members on spinal conditions and prevention
  • Oversee patients overall health
  • Promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
Skills
  • Spanish speaker is a must
  • Experience is a plus but we will provide training
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Team spirit with a positive attitude
  • Patience and cool-headedness
  • Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
  • Valid PA license
