Mortgage Analyst

Position Overview


Originate residential mortgage loans as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in all states in which licensed.


Essential Job Functions
• Ability to obtain licenses to originate mortgage loans in states where licensed
• Meet established sales goals
• Work with clients, including evaluating stated credit, income and collateral, to identify the appropriate loan product
to meet their specific needs
• Take application and assist clients through the application process from start to finish
• Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on client's desired goals and qualifications
• Develop strong client relations to create long term business opportunities
• Support the company's strong relationship culture through on-going client contact, quality customer service, and
superior product knowledge


Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Finance, Business, or Economics or two to three years of related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent telephone sales skills; oral communication skills
• Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines
• Familiar with FHA and HUD guidelines (preferred but not required)
• Ability to "Close the Deal"
• Analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Encompass a plus but not required
