Human Resources Coordinator

Yes& is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will help to run the daily functions of the Human Resources department. This role will focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records, onboarding/offboarding team members, coordinating recruitment efforts, and running the Yes& internship program. This is an excellent role for someone who is administratively focused, highly organized, and self-motivated. While Human Resources experience is preferred, applicants experienced in administrative skills will also be considered. This role is primarily remote, but this team member must have the ability to have a presence in our Alexandria, VA office on an as-needed basis. What You Will Do Assistwith candidate pre-screening and reference checks Assemble orientation materialsand schedulesfor newemployees Host onboarding meetings and check-ins with new employees Monitor andmaintainrecords of internal training programs Coordinate, staff, andfacilitatethe programming forYes&’sInternships Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, and tax information Process employment applications andassistin recording new hire documentation Assistin the management of monthly performance review cycles Additionaladministrativeassistanceas needed or requested. Experience You Need Bachelor’s degreerequired 1-2years of human resourcesexperience, or equivalent administrative experience Possessa strong senseof professionalism and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to keep departmental information confidential Knowledge and understanding of HRIS platforms and their function Very strongattention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects Proficient inMicrosoft O365Suite, and ideally agenerally techsavvy person Yes& is an equal opportunity employer.
