General Laborer | $17.00 - $18.00/hr. | Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description:

Play a critical hands-on role in fabrication when you become a General Laborer for one of the premier manufacturers of stainless steel and alloy pipe fittings and flanges in Sanford, FL. In this position, you will support production by safely moving materials, organizing inventory, loading and unloading metal products, and assisting with finishing and production processes.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity where strong attendance, reliability, and a solid work ethic can lead to a long-term career with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Safely move raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Organize and maintain raw materials, production materials, and finished products
• Load and unload metal coils and other production materials
• Restock raw materials and work-in-process goods as needed
• Grind and finish metal materials as required
• Assist with chemical washing and other production-related duties while following safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a metal manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Crane operator experience or certification is a plus
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position, which is $17.00-$18.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses, overtime, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base pay will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
