Registered Nurse - Surgery

Location: Valley View

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4-10 hour day shifts per week with rotating evening/night/weekend call.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery department provides specialized nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a Level III trauma center equipped with state-of-the-art surgical facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical processes and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Colorado RN License or Compact RN License in good standing.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is required.
