The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining various areas, including residential and commercial spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to ensure they are clean and presentable Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining common areas Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly Engage in residential painting projects when required, contributing to the upkeep of the facility's aesthetic appeal Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Rotating weekends Weekends as needed Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be advantageous Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all occupants #J-18808-Ljbffr Nashville Public Radio
