The Role

As a Full Time Front Desk Agent at The Radical, you're more than a check-in point. You're a storyteller, a local guide, a problem-solver, and the first face guests see when they walk through our doors. You'll bring warmth, energy, and genuine curiosity to every interaction making every guest feel like they've arrived somewhere truly special.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with warmth and authenticity making arrivals and departures feel effortless and memorable
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while personalizing every interaction
• Serve as a local expert sharing genuine recommendations for Asheville dining, art, music, and experiences
• Handle reservations, room assignments, and special requests with care and attention to detail
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and needs with a calm, solutions-first attitude
• Communicate seamlessly with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate front desk records
• Support the team during peak periods, events, and property activations
• Represent The Radical's brand with professionalism, personality, and pride every shift

Qualifications

Who You Are

• You have a genuine love for hospitality and connecting with people
• You're energetic, curious, and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• You stay calm under pressure and find creative solutions when things don't go as planned
• You're a strong communicator clear, warm, and professional in person and in writing
• You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture: an exceptional guest experience
• You're passionate about Asheville's culture, community, and what makes this city special
• Prior hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required. We hire for attitude first.
• Comfortable with hotel property management systems or eager to learn
• Available for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays
