Safety Coordinator – Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Position Summary IES Residential is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Coordinator to support our Florida operations. This role is instrumental in fostering and strengthening our safety culture across job sites and teams. Key Responsibilities Perform regular and comprehensive safety inspections across residential construction job sites. Collaborate with field and management teams to champion a proactive, accountable, and positive safety culture. Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and specialized safety trainings. Lead safety meetings with field teams and supervisors to address concerns and reinforce safe work practices. Promptly respond to workplace incidents, lead investigations, root cause analyses, and develop corrective actions. Act as point of contact during OSHA site visits; ensure documentation and procedures are compliant and up-to-date. Communicate and enforce company safety policies and procedures effectively. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 4–6 years Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in residential or commercial construction. OSHA 500 Certification – Required. First Aid/CPR Instructor Certification – Preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual in English and Spanish – Mandatory. Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. Solid understanding of current OSHA standards and regulations. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred Experience Previous experience in construction safety within residential or electrical environments. Demonstrated ability to influence positive change and improve safety metrics in field operations. Experience using digital safety platforms, mobile apps, or incident tracking tools. Travel Requirements Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to many job sites.
