Porter

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Day Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial properties. This role includes driving a company truck between sites, collecting trash, and performing general exterior upkeep to ensure our properties remain clean, safe, and presentable for tenants and visitors. Key Responsibilities Drive a company truck to assigned properties on a daily route. Pick up trash and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and common spaces. Empty exterior trash receptacles and replace liners as needed. Perform light groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, blowing debris, and minor cleanup tasks. Inspect properties for cleanliness, safety concerns, and maintenance issues. Report damages, hazards, vandalism, or repair needs to management. Maintain company vehicle in clean and safe operating condition. Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws. Provide courteous and professional interactions with tenants, vendors, and the public. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate a pickup truck or light‑duty company vehicle safely. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated. Prior porter, janitorial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred but not required. Work Schedule Full‑time / Part‑time (as needed). Day shift, Monday through Friday (some weekends if needed). This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
