This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility providing comprehensive inpatient care to the Walla Walla community. The hospital is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology services.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Hospitalist

Job Details:
Provide hospitalist coverage for day shifts (7am-7pm), Tuesday to Tuesday, for 1-2 weeks per month starting mid-March/beginning of April
Manage 10-15 patient encounters per shift in an inpatient setting
Required to handle ICU patients with ventilator management - must have case logs reflecting 15 cases in past 24 months
Perform non-invasive ventilation management
Manage ventilation (acute and chronic preferred)
Conduct EKG interpretation (required)
Arterial line placement (preferred)
Perform cardiac stress test interpretation (preferred)
Must be licensed in WA or have IMLC eligibility ACLS certification required Board certification required
Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
Evidence of case logs must be included with application for ICU privileges

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
