This position requires custodial tasks including cleaning, disinfecting, dusting and floor care, as well as maintenance tasks. Candidates shall have proven experience collaborating with others, written and oral communication skills, keeping buildings and equipment operating. Experience must include optimizing daily custodial and some maintenance efficiencies, preventive maintenance/custodial practices, and maintaining a safe and healthy facility. Maintenance practices, as well as repairs should be expected, both independently and as part of a team. This position is a full year, full benefit, hourly position which includes standard vacation and insurance packages. Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools – Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy – or another high school of their choosing. We are located about 3 hours from Boston, Montreal and Portland, ME.
