Product Manager

Our client, a leading financial services company, is hiring a Senior Product Manager focused on Agentic Commerce.

In this role, you will drive the development and delivery of Agentic Commerce capabilities that enable seamless and secure transactions for Card Members. You will develop product strategy and requirements for AI agent-facilitated payments, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Fraud, Servicing, Network, Legal, Compliance, Risk, UX, and external partners to build new payment experiences and define emerging industry standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy and execution of Agentic Commerce capabilities, including product requirements, technical specifications, platform features, and AI agent-facilitated payment experiences.

• Partner closely with Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams to evaluate emerging technologies and protocols, including Agent-to-Agent Protocol, Agentic Payments Protocol, x402, Web Bot Auth, Trusted Agent Protocol, and Model Context Protocol.

• Partner with Fraud, Servicing, Network, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to develop strategies for fraud prevention, disputes, servicing, data governance, payment regulations, and secure agentic payment experiences.

• Define requirements and specifications for data sharing and integrations with merchants, payment service providers, and AI/LLM partners while collaborating with UX, Design, Web, and Mobile teams to deliver customer-facing experiences.

• Work with Business Development and Product Enablement teams to evaluate partner requirements, operationalize solutions, and support go-to-market strategies while balancing near-term execution with long-term product strategy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product development, product management, or a similar role.

• Experience with issuer payments, including digital payments, fraud prevention, disputes, and payment processing.

• Strong understanding of technology and product development processes, with the ability to communicate effectively with and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience defining product requirements, specifications, and technical solutions while partnering closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams.

• Strong customer focus and product intuition, with the ability to translate customer and business needs into product functionality.

• Ability to manage competing priorities across customers, internal stakeholders, external partners, and technical teams while making effective decisions and gaining alignment.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, understand dependencies, and drive efficient resolutions.

• Ability to balance long-term product strategy with tactical execution and detailed requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire cross-functional partners.

• Ability to work creatively and effectively within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with AI, LLMs, or AI agent technologies.

• Familiarity with emerging agentic commerce and payment protocols such as Agent-to-Agent Protocol, Agentic Payments Protocol, x402, Web Bot Auth, Trusted Agent Protocol, or Model Context Protocol.

• Experience working with merchants, PSPs, payment networks, or AI/LLM partners.

• Experience with fraud, disputes, servicing, or payment-related customer experiences.

• Experience working with UX research, product design, web, and mobile application teams.
