TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Enid, Oklahoma, 73701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - 2+ years of recent PACU experience required - Phase 1 PACU experience required - Experience in a level I trauma center preferred License: - Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: - PALS, BLS, and ACLS required - CPAN, TNCC, and CCRN highly desirable Must-Have: - Ability to think critically and work independently - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required - BSN highly desired Description: Monitor post-operative patients' levels of recovery and consciousness from anesthesia. Provide updates to the medical team as needed. Obtain and record patients' vital signs. Observe patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication. Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia. Administer medication as prescribed. Update charting (EMR), patient files, and medical records. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care. Answer any questions they may have.
