Staff Attorney

A large, publicly traded, tech-enabled company headquartered in Rosemead, South California. It operates an asset-light business model and specializes in transporting oversized, heavy goods like furniture, appliances, and fitness equipment directly to a consumer's home. The company’s revenue reached approximately $1.5 billion. We are currently seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team. This role will provide in‑house legal support to all business units, with a focus on contract review and drafting, resolving business issues through direct collaboration with internal teams, supporting HR disputes and internal investigations, and managing assigned matters with strong ownership, timeliness, and accountability. The role requires regular in‑office attendance and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day in-house legal support to business teams across the U.S. Review, draft, and revise commercial contracts, addenda, amendments, and other legal documents. Meet with business teams to discuss open issues, answer questions, identify risks, and help resolve drafting or business concerns. Take ownership of assigned matters and drive them to completion with minimal supervision. Manage deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate promptly regarding status, risks, and delays. Lead or support HR disputes, employee relations matters, and internal investigations, including fact gathering, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of summaries or recommendations. Support SEC reporting and filing obligations, including preparation, review, coordination, and timely submission of required disclosures and related materials. Support legal issues arising in the ordinary course of business, including claims, disputes, and other operational matters. Maintain organized records and ensure legal work products are accurate, clear, and complete. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and outside counsel as needed, while remaining accountable for timely follow‑up and execution. Perform other legal duties assigned to support the business. Qualifications J.D. / Law degree Licensed to practice law in California At least 3–5 years of experience in a corporate legal department; preferably with a U.S. public company experience Experience providing in-house legal support, contract review and drafting, employee relations support, and internal investigation assistance Experience in preparing and reviewing corporate governance documents such as board resolutions, incorporation documents, articles, and bylaws Strong judgment, drafting, and issue‑spotting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high‑quality work Strong communication and relationship‑management skills Bilingual in English and Chinese language skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
