Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The candidate will provide specialized nursing support, monitor patient status, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, adjust treatments, and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC preferred).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
• Adhere to hospital policies on float requirements and holiday work schedules, maintaining flexibility as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in an ICU setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must meet local radius rule (50 miles) and provide two supervisory references.
