Line Lead - 2nd Shift

Responsible for line scheduling and changeover coordination. Adjusts line sequencing based on visual controls from schedule/Kanban. Determines operators’ assignments based on sequencing and part specific needs to ensure maximum efficiency. Completes part production labeling, data input and reporting requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Determine product needed by reviewing Kanban or schedule. Monitor and communicate hour‑by‑hour line performance to ensure effective schedule execution. Ensure safety, 6S, and quality standards are met for the line. Monitor and coordinate material availability to ensure effective schedule management. Coordinate machine operator and line operator assignments to meet part‑specific standard work requirements and ensure production schedules are met. Immediately report any unsafe act or condition. Promote teamwork through effective motivation and respect for each team member. Serve as an active participant in LSS programs that promote continuous improvement. Adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules. Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience. Ability to read and understand English. Knowledge of Oracle job data and labeling transactions, including paperwork and traceability requirements for accurate material transactions.
