Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 – 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 5+ years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: 5 years or more of experience in Emergency Department Description: 5+ years of Emergency Department experience required. Candidates with ICU and Emergency Department experience will be considered. The facility serves the community as a comprehensive surgical service provider with 24-hour Emergency Department services. It has a designated Chest Pain Center and a Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Additional services include home health, hospice, advanced wound healing, and cardiac rehabilitation. The Emergency Department features 31 beds and 2 triage rooms. 7 of the 31 beds are utilized for behavioral health or acute patients. Patient ratios are typically 1:4, although exceptions can occur during high-volume days. The primary electronic health record systems used are MedHost and Meditech. The Emergency Department serves patients of all ages. The ideal candidate should possess a professional and positive demeanor, along with a compassionate approach to patient care. Teamwork is essential in this role. Scrub color is open to the traveler's choice.
