About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President and Vice President for its Accounts Payable function in the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership in key areas such as invoice processing, payment execution, vendor onboarding and management, and account reconciliations. This role involves the establishment and maintenance of robust AP policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. The ideal candidate will also champion automation and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the function. Key responsibilities for this position include serving as a primary point of contact for vendors, internal business partners, and external auditors, as well as overseeing timely and accurate month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts payable. The role requires the tracking and analysis of KPIs and service-level metrics, with a focus on preparing regular reporting for senior management. The candidate will also be expected to partner closely with procurement, treasury, and technology teams to ensure the alignment of AP operations with broader financial and operational objectives. Additionally, the role involves leading, coaching, and developing a geographically distributed team of accounts payable professionals and staying current on regulatory developments, tax considerations, and industry trends that impact accounts payable operations.
