Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in executive compensation and employee benefits law, focusing on equity plans, executive retention packages, and compensation arrangements in mergers and acquisitions, particularly private equity transactions. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos and contracts. Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional interaction. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative transaction strategies. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Engage in firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work. Requirements 3 years of corporate experience. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of Washington. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and good business judgment.
