Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Project and Lab Manager for a leading aerospace and defense technology client. This individual will primarily focus on project management responsibilities, supporting advanced technology programs through planning, scheduling, budget tracking, reporting, procurement coordination, and stakeholder management. In addition, the candidate will provide operational support for a cybersecurity laboratory, including inventory management, lab safety oversight, documentation, equipment coordination, and light technical administration of Windows, Linux, networking, and electronic equipment. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional who enjoys balancing project management with hands-on technical exposure and is interested in supporting cutting-edge technology initiatives in a collaborative, highly regulated environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3-7 years of project coordination/project management experience
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, and tracking budgets/funding
• Ability to manage procurement activities, purchase orders, suppliers, and work orders
• Experience with project reporting, risk management, stakeholder management, and process compliance
• Inventory management experience
• Basic technical aptitude with computers, networking, or electronics
• Windows and/or Linux familiarity (hobbyist level acceptable)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting U.S. Government programs
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
• Cybersecurity laboratory or test lab experience
• Experience maintaining inventory, calibration, and laboratory assets
• Experience working with classified and/or CUI environments
• PMP or formal project management training/certification
