Instrumentation Technician

(Onsite, Stratford, CT) We are looking for an Instrumentation Technician for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will Support the installation, fabrication, calibration, maintenance, and operation of aerospace instrumentation systems and data acquisition equipment to ensure accurate and reliable engineering test data collection. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is an Onsite role in Stratford, CT. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities Supports building and maintenance of instrumentation systems to provide measurement data required by the Engineering Department. Fluency with aerospace cable fabrication and assembly. Experience working in a team environment assisting instrumentation engineers in the preparation, installation, check-out and operation of instrumentation systems, follow planned maintenance / calibration, and standard operating procedures for all instrumentation and control equipment in order to maintain accuracy of data and ensure its validity, and operate DAS and other recording equipment. Requirements 16+ years of experience with building and maintenance of instrumentation systems Must have extensive strain gauge experience Experience working on test aircraft avionics and instrumentation wiring preferred.
