Growing together.We seek a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Location: Depending on your home location you will be asked to cover either Tacoma, WA to Vancouver, WA or Tacoma, WA to Bellingham, WA with flexibility to cover anywhere along the I-5 Corridor.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (lunch will be 30 minutes - 1 hour); you will get a 40-hour work week, but the location will vary based on the needs of the business.This is a float role - you will be covering either Tacoma, WA to Vancouver, WA or Tacoma, WA to Bellingham, WA with flexibility to cover anywhere along the I-5 Corridor. You will be covering at all clinics in your designated area and will receive mileage reimbursement as well as drive time reimbursement (drive time reimbursement will kick in after 50 miles). When necessary to stay overnight, hotel and food will be paid for.Primary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes wholesaler medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsOther duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of WashingtonAbility to travel to all sites in the areas of Bellingham to VancouverAbility to use your own vehicle to commute to all sites in your designated areaAccess to reliable transportation & valid US driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:National Pharmacy Technician Certification6+ months of previous pharmacy technician experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
