Lease Operator

Lease OperatorAs a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes.Responsibilities include:Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.General housekeeping and field maintenance.Qualifications include:2+ years of Lease Operator experience required.In-depth understanding of upstream facilities including but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, LACT sales, metering, and compression.Must live within 70 miles of Whitsett, TX.High School Diploma or GED required.Valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty.Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices.
