Description

American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Charleston, SC.

Details

• Located in the Medical Imaging department of a 321-bed acute care hospital in Charleston, SC
• Position is based in the Special Procedures unit within the main hospital building
• Procedures include moderate sedation across multiple Imaging departments, including CT, MRI, US, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology
• Monday through Friday day shifts with rotational schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM until cases are completed on call days
• Rotational call required on both weekdays and weekends
• May float to all departments within Medical Imaging per facility policy
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required; must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center
• Blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
