Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. This role is rewarding as part of a large team focused on happy, satisfied members. What You'll Be Doing Preparing Bakery Items: Operate baking equipment, follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards. Maintaining the Work Area: Keep the workspace clean, neat, and ready for members, ensuring compliance with sanitation guidelines and cold chain requirements. Supporting Members: Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, assist with purchasing decisions, and offer quick, accurate assistance while standing for long periods. Using Digital Tools: Leverage handheld technology for production decisions, merchandising, training, and product quality. Ensuring Operational Excellence: Uphold work area standards, quality and date control for bakery items, reduce waste, and support operational efficiency. Advocating for the Department: Model high-quality service, maintain energy, commitment, and passion, and represent the department positively to members. Adhering to Company Policies: Follow all policies, procedures, and ethical standards, using open-door and other communication channels as needed. Must complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Compensation Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 (the actual rate will equal or exceed the mandatory minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
