Rouse and Son, Inc., a New Page Company, is a 70 year old Boiler Room Equipment and Services provider for North and South Carolina. We are a manufacturers' representative and have a very broad product offering, encompassing all major types of boilers, commercial/industrial water heaters, boiler room heat recovery equipment and more. In addition to the salary compensation, this position is eligible for a sales commission. Responsibilities: Develop relationships with prospects. Strengthen and grow relationships with existing customers. Meet set metrics for points of contact with existing and new firms. Becoming an expert in our Equipment Lines – continuous improvement and education Supporting and nurturing relationships with equipment manufacturers and component vendors Maintain knowledge of existing project progression to support project management and inside sales support staff. Reviewing plans and specifications for relevant equipment and services Work with inside support group and represented manufacturers on equipment sizing for boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, and other related mechanical equipment. Proposal preparation, when needed to supplement Applications Engineer’s efforts, to meet customer needs. Support project management and applications engineers as needed to ensure proposal deadlines are met and customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. Coordinate turning over of completed jobs to Aftermarket Sales for follow-up Maintenance Services Exemplify company Core Values and Purpose to other employees and customers. Continuously logging and maintaining activities and opportunities in our CRM (Salesforce) Meet quotas for opportunity creation and quote funnel volume Continuously maintain Close Dates and Stage for Opportunities Achieve Basis-of-Design on target number of projects per year Achieve revenue generation targets, while maintaining defined margin levels. Maintaining relevant opportunity and job information in cloud-based file storage solution - SharePoint Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equal industry related experience Mechanical or similar Engineering Degree a plus 3-5+ Years' of B2B Sales Experience Strong experience with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM a plus Desire to succeed and be a part of our family, especially long term - exhibits a desire to meet long term growth goals as a team.
